MyGlassTruck.com Announces the Launch of New Options
for Commercial Glass Carriers Utilized With Sprinter Cargo Vans.

Glassboro, NJ MyGlassTruck.com announces the release of new optional equipment and features for their value line of aluminum glass carriers for Sprinter cargo vans. These options were developed to make delivering and installing glass easier and more efficient for the growing number of glaziers using the popular Sprinter vehicle.

A base model roof rack designed especially for Sprinters can be easily installed without the need for drilling holes in the vehicle. Fabricated from aluminum or stainless steel, it has three sturdy cross-members with vertical end posts to support ladders and other items during transport.

The full-length welded stainless-steel roof rack conveniently transports ladders, stock lengths of extrusion, moldings and other glazing supplies above the roof of the Sprinter. It features full-length side rails and is available in an extended model for additional storage above the cab. A variety of optional tie-down hooks may be welded to any position on roof rack. The optional metal cat walk makes it easier and safer to walk/climb on the roof rack and a unique optional retractable ladder provides convenient access to the roof for loading and unloading.

Both roof racks fit all models of standard and high-roof Sprinters.

An optional interior fold-down glass cutting tableoffers a sturdy, level work surface at the job site that’s sheltered from the elements inside the Sprinter’s cargo bay. A strong steel frame and retractable legs support a wood or aluminum top that can be covered with the glazier’s favorite material to provide an ideal glass cutting surface. The table is mounted to the Sprinter’s interior wall and folds down for use. For transport and storage it folds away and is held against the wall with locking pins.

Interior glass carrying racks mounted inside the Sprinter’s cargo bay protect glass from the elements, offer more security than exterior carriers and increase the amount of glass that can be transported per trip. Fabricated from strong 1/8” thick T6 aluminum with full-length integrated horizontal and vertical rubber padding along the posts and slats, MyGlassTruck.com’s carriers offer the most protective cushioning for glass in the industry. Each interior rack comes with three T6-Adjust-A-Poles and can be mounted on either the driver or passenger side of the Sprinter’s interior.

The demountable glass carrier option for Sprinters provides the ability for operators to install or remove their glass carrier in only few minutes. Removing the carrier when not in use improves vehicle maneuverability in tight urban and suburban areas and conserves fuel by reducing vehicle weight. It also prevents wear and tear on the carrier. A roof rack is required for the demountable option.

MyGlassTruck.com’s Load-carrying under-body mounts are computer designed especially for Sprinters to ensure uniform weight displacement from the top to bottom of the glass carrier. The mounts offer superior payload weight support by tying the carrier directly into the Sprinter’s unibody undercarriage. This also minimizes vibration to produce a smooth ride for glass and prevent vehicle wear. Load-bearing underbody mounts are included at no extra charge with every Sprinter glass carrier manufactured by MyGlassTruck.com.

Sprinter cargo vans were originally introduced in 1995 in Europe by Mercedes-Benz, and later in the United States by Daimler/Chrysler under the brands Freightliner and Dodge. Currently, the Sprinter line is being transitioned away from Dodge dealers to Mercedes dealers. Popular among commercial glaziers and other small business owners, Sprinters offer larger payload capacity, superior maneuverability and better fuel economy when compared to most commercial vans.
