Our Response To COVID-19

To all of our customers,

Together, we are facing an unprecedented situation. Life as we know it has been turned upside down by the global coronavirus pandemic. I wanted to reach out to you with an update on how we’re approaching the situation at MyGlassTruck.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We are truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

Second, we’re focused on the health and safety of our employees, families and communities. We know there are no guarantees, but are committed to doing everything possible to protect them. Our sales and service staff are working remotely, and we’ve taken steps to reduce the amount of interaction that occurs on the production floor by social distancing. We have established and implemented communication procedures for employees and managers to deal with COVID-19 circumstances.

Furthermore, we’ve split each production division in half and are on a rotation schedule of 10 hour days. To keep everyone rested we’re limiting the work week to 30 hours per production person. MyGlassTruck is supplementing 10 hours in PTO which enables our employees to have a 40 hour weekly paycheck. We feel this is the best balance.

Third, our team remains laser-focused on our company’s core values to guide us as we rise to this challenge.

We know manufacturing is a key part of our nation’s critical infrastructure, and we take our responsibility very seriously. We will continue to work as one while our world navigates this pandemic; it’s our goal to keep our customers, who are part of America’s glazing industry up and running.

As we collectively process and deal with these uncertain times, together as Americans, we have a choice to make. Simply said, we can get bogged down by focusing on problems and what can’t be done, or take stock of our talents and capabilities and power forward to the best possible outcome. We wholeheartedly believe in the American spirit to overcome challenges, inspire greatness, and work together to make the world a better place! It’s what America and American’s STILL do best.
