MyGlassTruck’s partners at Ryder Transportation Services and Chevrolet put in a coast-to-coast effort to get this project to the finish line for Glasswerks in Southern California. Our team just built seven Patriot glass trucks for this top architectural and custom glass fabricator operating in the Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and Hawaii areas.

Newly designed 7-inch ledge

The Patriot is one of the most versatile products in our lineup of glass rack bodies, and we’ve made a small design change to this proven truck body to suit Glasswerk’s needs. We've increased the glass carrying galvanized bottom ledges to be 7-inches deep, 1.25-inches deeper than our standard ledge. These ledges run the full length of the rack uninterrupted by fenders. This new feature is engineered to upgrade capacity for transporting more glass per trip. Rubber padding on the floors and ledges provide extra protection. If extra glass carrying capacity is a must have, make sure you ask for the 7" galvanized ledge when quoting your next Patriot!

Patriot Glass Truck Body

The Patriot family of glass truck bodies is available for a wide array trucks and offers more cargo and weight capacity than our Atlas glass truck bodies. The Patriot LT can be installed on Class 3-5 trucks and the Patriot HD can be installed on Class 5 and higher vehicles. Some of the standout features of a Patriot include up to 10-foot high racks and extra deep ledges.

With available lengths up to 28-feet you can carry those extra long or wide sheets of glass and a walkway in-between the racks provides plenty of extra cargo space. Every Patriot glass body is built from the ground up to the customer’s exact specifications. If a customer needs a turn-key Patriot glass truck, we have in-stock units available at dealerships across the country.

A flat deck with generous floor space provides access to the interior racks. We cover any surface that touches glass with rubber for the ultimate in glass protection. T-topped adjust-a-poles with neoprene cleats come standard for securing cargo of varying thickness. Optional E-track and straps are also available.

A glass truck body built just for you.

We design and build every truck at our 50,000 square foot facility located in Glassboro, New Jersey. We can also ship to one of our authorized installers across the country. We use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that your glass truck body is best-in-class. Our team of glass transportation experts, engineers, and technicians ensure that your glass body is manufactured to your exact specifications. Our team will guide you from your initial quote and engineering through delivery and implementation of your new vehicle.
