Three Affordable Glass Carrying Solutions

How to Get the Most Out of Your Van, Pickup, or Small Truck Body. No Extra Vehicle Required.

If your glass transport vehicle is feeling cramped but you're not quite ready to invest in a second van or truck, you're not alone. Many glaziers reach a point where their workload grows, but their fleet can't just yet. The good news? There’s often hidden potential in your current setup. With a few upgrades and mindful loading, you can boost your hauling capacity without adding another vehicle.

Double Your Glass Capacity With Full‑Size Interior Racks

If you’re shopping for interior racks, chances are you already have a glass rack on both sides of your vehicle. If you’ve ever wished your van could carry just a little more glass, or if you’re tired of wiping road grime off every piece you unload, our interior racks might just become your new favorite upgrade.

The Interior Glass Rack contains all the features you know and love about MyGlassTruck racks. These racks are built from lightweight aluminum, secured with Huck fasteners (no welds that crack over time), and padded with full-length vertical and horizontal rubber. The most glass‑protection padding you’ll find anywhere. Period.

Each rack ships with three Adjust‑A‑Poles (with E‑track and scissor‑style cleat upgrades available), giving you a few options for securing cargo to the rack. Many customers pair an interior rack with one of our exterior racks to maximize capacity without moving into a larger vehicle.

Combine Shelving and Glass Transport with the Shelf Rack Combo

What if your van could carry glass and stay organized?

The Shelf Rack Combo is thoughtfully engineered to deliver the perfect balance of functionality and style. On the exterior, you’ll find a 5-degree sloped front surface with padded slats, designed for safely transporting glass. Inside, the shelves offer plenty of room for storing tools, hardware, or anything else you need to get the job done.

Made from durable, lightweight aluminum and assembled with Huck® aircraft-grade fasteners renowned for their superior strength compared to traditional welds or bolts. Available in a variety of sizes, many customers choose to pair two units together for even more storage and versatility.

Best of all, the Shelf Rack Combo ships fully assembled and includes all the mounting hardware you need for an easy installation, so you can hit the ground running.

Expand Your Exterior Glass Rack’s Capacity with the Second Ledge System

Our Second Ledge System is designed to solve a common challenge glaziers face when transporting smaller or secondary pieces of glass. This handy system snaps directly into the E‑track mounted on the rack, creating a secure mini‑ledge above the primary glass support. This lets you safely transport glass on the upper portion of the rack when the main ledge is already full, without sacrificing stability or accessibility.

The #1 advantage of the Second Ledge System is increased efficiency and protection. By expanding the usable surface area of the rack, crews can carry more glass per trip while keeping smaller or delicate pieces elevated and further from road debris. The removable, E‑track‑mounted design is easy to install (which helps reduce load time), and allows you to customize your glass rack for every different load you transport.

The real proof isn’t just a line in a marketing brochure; it comes from the road. Most glaziers replace their racks when their trucks age out, which is usually after five to seven years.
