This summer, we welcomed Bennett to the Victory Truck Body/MyGlassTruck team as a summer intern! Bennett is currently studying Automotive Engineering at Clemson University and will be entering his sophomore year this fall. Throughout the summer, he's worked alongside our production team, helping assemble our MyGlassTruck glass racks and gaining valuable hands-on manufacturing experience.
For an aspiring engineer, there's no substitute for experiencing how products are built on the floor. Bennett shared that one of the things he's enjoyed most here is building rack walls, and described the process like “building a big LEGO set.” He also appreciates learning how our products are assembled, knowing that this experience will help him design components that are practical and efficient to manufacture in the future.
After graduation, Bennett hopes to pursue a career in the automotive or motorsports industry, but he says he's enjoyed his time at Victory and would be happy to return. "I really like the environment and the team," he said when asked if he'd consider coming back.
At MyGlassTruck and Victory, we're proud to play a small part in developing the world’s next generation of engineers. We wish Bennett the best as he heads back to Clemson this fall, and we hope to welcome him back for a future internship in our engineering department!
