Headquartered in Highland, Michigan Midwest Glass Fabricators (www.mwgf.com) manufactures glass and metal products and engineered systems including all-glass entryways, curtain walls, store fronts and shower door systems. Established in 1989, the same year MyGlassTruck began making glass racks, they service customers in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. They've recently opened a distribution center in Louisville, Kentucky and have broken ground on a 53,000 square foot addition to their original Highland facility to add a laminating line.

To facilitate growth and provide timely, best-in-class delivery to their customers Midwest Glass Fabricators has steadily relied on MyGlassTruck racks, truck bodies and trailers. The company initially procured our “strap-in” racks to outfit their glass delivery vehicles. This temporary racking system is secured to a truck body or trailer using e-track and cargo straps and can be removed when not needed. It's ideal for rental vehicles and varying types of cargo.

Next, Midwest Glass Fabricators invested in a MyGlassTruck Avenger semi-trailer with open front and rear platforms for transporting bulky items and a center curtain-side compartment containing glass racks. This high-capacity trailer makes deliveries from Michigan to Kentucky. The curtain provides protection from weather and road debris for the outer racks, and opens from the front or rear for easy, and quick loading. There are also walk-in interior racks for securing smaller items.

Midwest also utilizes a MyGlassTruck Defender glass truck to service the Cleveland market. it features curtain-sided outer racks for glass up to 13 feet long (157”) and a rear flatbed platform protected by FRP panels for transporting crated glass. This configuration is totally flexible from a cargo standpoint while providing the quick loading and protection of a curtain-sider.

Along with these two specialized glass vehicles, Midwest Glass Fabricators also runs a MyGlassTruck Champion HD glass truck for local deliveries. It's equipped with retractable curtain access to full-length outer racks and full-width rear doors for access to interior racks. All MyGlassTruck racks are built-to-last from extruded aluminum posts and slats for strength and reduced weight for higher payload capacity. To maximize glass protection, they feature full-length horizontal and vertical rubber padding and the choice of poles with black neoprene cleats or scissor-style cleats -- or e-track and straps for securing glass.

Midwest Glass Fabricators is known for providing outstanding customer service backed by products customers can rely on that are delivered on time and in perfect condition. MyGlassTruck is proud that they repeatedly choose our glass racking systems, truck bodies and trailers to fulfill their mission.
